CSIT499 NETWORK RESEARCH PROJECTS

Several projects are available for undergraduate students who wish to pursue CSIT499 with Dr. Zubairi. For a quick look at some previous network research involving undergraduate students, click here.

Some projects are as follows: (C++ Knowledge required for most of these projects)

(1) Traffic Engineering with MPLS (Linux-based experimentation required)

(2) Implementing fault tolerance in an MPLS domain, using local/global re-routing

(3) Devising mechanisms to prevent best effort traffic from delaying high priority traffic

(4) Campus network modeling and studies with OPNET under guidance from AIT

(5) Testing SLA compliance in an MPLS-Diffserv domain

(6) Devising mechanisms to track SLA's and meter their usage
