RGB Color Image Compressor (BWIC_I)

Newly proposed Lossless Color Image Compression Executable. You can access executable and test files by clicking the more info link below. BWIC_I utilizes BWIC, JPEG2000, CALIC and LCIC and runs on Windows OS. On a wide variety of image sets, particularly on medical images, this new technique achieves better compression gains than several well-known image compressors such as JPEG 2000, CALIC, LOCO-I and other previously proposed techniques.

Concurrent Encryption and Lossless Compression using Inversion Ranks (US Patent, US20230291417A1)

To ensure secure and efficient transmission or storage, data files are typically subjected to both compression and encryption. In this work we developed a cost-effective encryption approach integrated directly into a lossless compression algorithm, thereby eliminating the overhead associated with executing these processes separately using inversion frequency vector. Our findings demonstrate that the proposed method of concurrent encryption and lossless compression is both efficient and resilient against standard cryptanalytic attacks.
