Application Information

Prospective Freshmen and Transfer Students:

(Application form for New Students) Mention your interest in the MACS Scholarship Program when you apply to SUNY Fredonia. Be sure to select either Computer Science or Mathematics (not mathematics education) as your major. Academically eligible students will be invited to submit a full MACS Scholarship Application, and will need to submit their FAFSA (financial aid form) by February 1. Completed MACS scholarship applications will be due March 1, and we hope to make scholarship offers by mid-March.

Current SUNY Fredonia students:

( Application form for Current Fredonia Students ) Send an email message to Dr. Ziya Arnavut or Dr. Straight expressing interest in the MACS Scholarship Program. Be sure that you have declared Computer Science or Mathematics (not mathematics education) as your primary major. Also make sure that your information on file with the financial aid office is up-to-date. We will review the academic records of all current Computer Science and Mathematics majors at the end of the fall semester, and eligible students will be invited to submit a full MACS Scholarship Application by May 1. We expect to make scholarship offers to current students for the following academic year in June, after reviewing academic performance for the spring semester.
