Journal Publications After the Workshop, the authors of the best ranked papers will be invited to submit extended versions of their works for publication in special issues of the following international journals: Pattern Recognition (Elsevier) – for papers published in the IWCIA'08 LNCS volume. International Journal of Imaging Systems and Technology (Wiley) – for papers included in the proceedings of the "Special Track on Applications." All submitted papers will undergo a regular peer-review process. Special issues of other journals will possibly be devoted to IWCIA’08, as well.
