Department Facilities
Our department operates its own Intel and SGI based laboratories running Windows 98, 2000, XP, and various flavors of UNIX. These facilities are dedicated to supporting instruction in computer science. The CS laboratories consist of servers and workstations on a high speed network which is linked to the Internet. CLI and PPP dial-up facilities are also provided. Our laboratory is maintained by a systems administrator and a staff of student assistants. The department utilizes microcomputers in both mathematics and computer science instruction. In addition, there are several other computer laboratories on campus available to computer science students.
The Computer Science department has two computer labs in Fenton Hall.
The lab in Fenton 115 is open MTWR 10:00 am - 10:00 pm, Friday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, Sunday 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. See the current proctors schedule.
